Step 14 Add layer above the ‘Glass’ layer and repeat the Apply Image command. Name it ‘Blue’ and a duplicate ‘Red’, follow the same Layer Styles tweaks to both layers as in Step 11. Place them into a folder called ‘3D Xgirl & Graphics’. Now nudge the ‘Red’ layer three times to the left, then switch off the ‘Glass’, ‘Gun Flash’, ‘Xgirl large’, ‘Xgirl small’ and ‘3D’ layers. Stack ‘Graphics’ above ‘3D City’, then switch on the ‘Non 3D’ layer and the ‘3D CITY’ folder.
Step 15 Disregard ‘Shape 1’, and snap the Crop tool to your guides. Add a mask to the ‘3D XGirl & Graphics’ folder, then Cmd-click or right-click the ‘Non 3D’ layer thumbnail to load its content a selection. Now use a large, hard-edged brush to hide any overlapping glass fragments. Finally, sit back and review the 3D effect with your glasses.
