Piccadilly Curtains animates David Attenborough’s Natural Curiosities

Piccadilly Curtains has created an animated ad for UKTV’s new series, David Attenborough’s Natural Curiosities.

The spot promotes the new series in which Sir David Attenborough shines the spotlight on ten creatures with evolutionary quirks. Piccadilly Curtains has adopted a mixed media approach for it, comprising 3D elements, traditional 2D animation and digital effects added in After Effects

Piccadilly Curtains is the alias of director, Adam Parry. His work ranges from slick VFX, and event-based interactive projects to hand drawn 2D animation.

Adam Parry studied at the London College of Communication (formerly the London College of Printing) in the early 90s with a quest to learn all he could about the emerging digital technologies.  After graduating he worked on TV commercials and TV channel graphics in Hamburg and Amsterdam using Flame.  From 2000 - 2008 he led the in-house design department at Framestore working on a range of high profile TV, film and new media projects, was creative director for two years at Superfad, before working on a wide variety of projects with Strange Beast’s sister company Passion Pictures. 

Adam has just joined Strange Beast for representation.
