Point London is a new design conference taking place in London in May featuring talks from the likes of Jonathan Barnbrook, Erik Spiekermann (above), Matt Webb of Berg, Nicolas Roope of Poke and Olympic Torch designers Barber Osgerby.

The organisers say the conference 'explores the theme of Authenticity and the power of great design for change in business, education and society'.

Other speakers include Magnum photographer Bruce Gilden, Seymour Chwast of Push Pin Studios, Blackpool Comedy Carpet designer Andy Altmann of Why Not Associates and BCC artist Gordon Young and public space designer Morag Myerscough. There are also screenings of ilmed interviews with design icon Milton Glaser, Magnum photographer Elliot Erwitt, and the late Alan Fletcher.

Point London takes place the RIBA from May 2-3. Tickets cost £400 for professionals and £180 for students (if you book before March 30).
