The Partners New York has redesigned Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra’s brand with abstract imagery and a new logo.
The new logo aims to reflect the orchestra as the main classical music experience in Brooklyn, the beauty of fresh music relevant to today’s audiences and the community enjoyment it brings since establishing in 1973.
The redesign follows the once small music society’s move to permanent residency at the Brooklyn Museum.
The Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra mainly consists of Brooklyn residents, who aim to engage with the wide variety of the area’s population.
This is seen through their concerts at the Brooklyn Museum, and smaller orchestral and chamber groups that extend into the community.
Bolstering the new logo is The Partners software development that visually interprets music in real time, creating an “open-source” for imagery that can evolve and develop.
A new website and merchandise is expected later this season.
The Partners have offices based in major cities London, New York and Singapore. Clients include Vodafone, Coca Cola, Argos and The National Gallery.
The agency’s industry awards include 17 D&AD Pencils and three Gold Lions at Cannes.
