CorelDraw comes to the Mac for the first time ever - but creatives will be more excited by it's new web-based application.
It's been a long time coming but CorelDraw has now launched it first ever native Mac itineration, coming out alongside the latest version of the classic graphic design software.
CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2019 to use its official name will bring a host of new features for Windows users - and those same features to anyone who's been looking to try out the app on their Apple desktops and laptops.
Designed from the ground up to make the most of each platform, both packages also include the new CorelDRAW.app, a browser-based option that allows creatives to make essential tweaks and corrections while on the go, any edits made with their Mac or Windows being instantly synced to a web-based version of their work.
This'll be handy for when a client demands last-minute amendments, and is something not yet offered by the likes of Adobe.
The new update marks CorelDraw's 30th year of operation, with a Mac version long being asked for by its devoted fanbase.
“CorelDraw has built its reputation as a leading graphics suite that’s focused on professional results, output, and ease of use,” said John Falsetto, senior director of products, CorelDRAW and productivity.
“With 2019, we’re bringing the power of the software in a truly native experience to the Mac, delivering the high-end tools professionals need.”
Users on both platforms will be able to utilise new features like Non-Destructive Effects and a new Objects Docker offering direct control over the structure of a document plus quick access to all of its components.
The full versions of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2019 and CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2019 for Mac are both available now at the suggested retail price of $499 USD/£599.99.
Registered users of any previous version of CorelDraw Graphics Suite may upgrade to the Windows suite for $199/£299.99 RRP and access to CorelDraw.app is included with any CorelDraw Graphics Suite 2019 purchase.
