An "instant wire-frame display mode" has been added, providing a new special effects as well as giving a clearer overview of a project when designing and animating. New geometric shapes include a frustrum (truncated pyramid), torus, and metaballs. 3D vector-based Macromedia Flash files can be created with Cool 3D 3.5, and several additional plug-ins have been added. These include lightning, texture embossing, and wave animation, says Ulead. It will ship for Windows and cost £45 plus VAT.
