New York-based creative studio Trollback + Co has created a dynamic set of idents for reality cable TV channel A&E. The brief idents are a mixed bag, tapping a variety of imagery but always resolving into A&E's logo.
The project aimed for stylistic consistency coupled with diversity: the spots had to share some qualities without becoming same-y. The idents explore a range of media, including live action, illustration, animation and motion-graphics.
However, to match up with the channel's new focus on reality TV, the majority of the spots are novel takes on live action footage.
