Print Club holds 'blind' art sale

Next month sees the Secret Blisters 2009 event, a sale of limited-edition prints in which the names of the artists behind the prints on sale are concealed, so that you effectively buy blind.

Secret Blisters 2009 follows on from a successful event last year attended by over 1,000 people – however, in last year's event buyers could see the name of the artists, who included Eine, Jody Barton, Pure Evil, Steve Wilson, and Jon Burgerman.

This year the organizers say they want purchases to be motivated by "passion, not pounds" – hence hiding the names. The format of Secret Blisters 2009 is simple: 35 artists sell 35 editions of a print for £35.

The event takes place on June 26; for the venue and more details check the Print Club website closer to the time.
