Production company Passion Pictures has added Sheffield-based studio Universal Everything to its roster. The multidisciplinary art and design studio will be represented by Passion for commercials and web-based projects.

Universal Everything was founded in 2004 by Matt Pyke, and has produced high-profile projects for Apple, the London 2012 Olympics, MOMA in New York and Colette in Paris. Recent projects include an animation for the launch of the Nokia e71 Smartphone and an installation piece, Forever, at the V&A last year.

Universal Everything was listed as one of the Guardian's 50 top creative studios, and Matt Pyke has delivered D&AD President's Lectures and completed lecture tours across the US for Apple.

Matt Pyke says, “We are super-excited to be working with Passion, this partnership will help us evolve in directions we haven't yet imagined.”

A selection of Universal Everything's work can be viewed on the Passion Pictures website.

Passion's executive producer Michael Adamo says, “Signing Universal Everything was a no-brainer. Matt has a clear voice and a remarkable ability to design for every form of media known (and not yet invented). Passion will give Matt the opportunity to apply his skills to these and more traditional forms of media plus the power of a world class studio to push his work into new realms. At a time when Passion directors are applying their talents to an ever increasing array of media it seems very natural to embrace a director who is at the forefront of that movement.”
