The Nikon D300S is a 12.3Mp DSLR capable of capturing high definition (HD) video at 7fps.

The camera utilises the same DX-format 12.3 megapixel CMOS sensor and 51-point autofocus system as in the D300, but now includes a stereo microphone input, the ability to use autofocus during video capture and an on-camera editing that allows users to select movie start and end points on the camera’s 3in LCD display without the need for a PC. The D300S also features a Type C HDMI port so users can review and edit their movies on a HD display.

Users will also benefit from both Compact Flash (CF) and Secure Digital (SD) memory card slots. Priced at £1,305 plus VAT, the D300S will also be available from August.
