3D technology company iPIX has announced a new licensing programme, largely aimed at creatives working for the property development market. The iPIX Virtual Tour Licence scheme allows users to pay an annual fee to create unlimited virtual tours. IPIX Virtual Tours allow visitors to view 360-degree images from inside a property. Hotspots can be placed so visitors can move from room to room. It runs using Java, so no plug-ins are needed by the end viewer. The licence includes iPIX Real Estate Wizard software for creating virtual tours. Previously, iPIX images had to paid for when served on a pay-per-use scheme. The Virtual Tour License is designed to allow companies to budget for use in advance.
