Iomega has announced two new DVD recorders, the Super DVD QuikTouch Video Burner and the Super DVD Writer, as well as the new Network Hard Drive

The Network Hard Drive comes in 160GB or 250GB capacities, costing $279.95 and $379.95 respectively (around £155 and £213). The drive features 10/100 Ethernet connectivity and Iomega Automatic Backup software for up to four clients. It plugs into any router, switch or hub and can be configured with a Web browser.

The company will debut its new Super DVD recorders next week. Users can plug a video source directly into the QuikTouch Video Burner -- which costs $299.95 (£165) -- or use files already on their Mac or PC, and burn video directly to a DVD or CD.

The Super DVD Writer which costs $199.95 (£110) lacks the ability to accept a direct video source.

Both drives feature USB 2.0 connectivity and compatibility with DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-R and CD-RW discs. They also feature the ability to burn double-layer DVD+R discs on PCs.
