Dell has announced the Precision M90 and the Precision M65 mobile workstations, which are the first models from the company to feature Intel's Core Duo dual-core processors.
These chips place two processor cores on a single piece of silicon, boosting the performance of heavy-duty creative applications and 3D rendering.
The mobile workstation supports Core Duo processors up to the 2.16GHz T2600, and up to 4GB of 667MHz DDR2 RAM. It includes a Serial ATA hard drive up to 120GB in size, gigabit ethernet, wireless networking, DVI output for connection to a monitor, and a 5-in-1 media card reader. Pricing begins at £1,497 plus VAT.
