The entry process is now open for the prestigious D&AD Student Awards. Budding graphic designers, photographers, digital talents, illustrators, and other creatives have until March 20 to submit work.
Entries must answer a brief, chosen from the 27 that are available to download from the D&AD Web site.
Sample briefs cover everything from mobile marketing to installations, product design to Web videos, traditional advertising to viral marketing, and graphic design to online design. A total of 27 briefs are available.
Laura Woodroffe, D&AD Director of Education & Professional Development, said: “For over 30 years, the D&AD Student Yellow Pencil has been one of the toughest student awards to win and one of the best first steps to a career in advertising and design. Our standards couldn’t remain so high without the industry staying closely involved to help encourage the next generation.”
The awards are open to any full or part time students enrolled on recognized undergraduate, postgraduate and Higher Education courses anywhere in the world. Entry costs £15/£12 for student members. Nominations will be announced in early June and winners will be announced at the D&AD Student Awards Ceremony on July 2 2009 in London.
