At a glittering ceremony last night, this year’s D&AD (Design and Art Direction) awards were presented. The judging panel – including Digit editor Matthew Bath – selected only four pieces for gold awards. Around 100 silver awards were also given away. The gold award winners were Abbot Mead Vickers for the Guiness surfer commercial (which won two awards in the television commercials and direction categories), RSA Films’ video for Bjork’s ‘All Is Full of Love’ single (direction category) and Apple’s Cinema Display (products for work category).
