Attik has designed the identity for Virgin Atlantic's new social media-driven travel website, Vtravelled. Attik says that the agency created a rich and expressive design language that reflected the idea of dreaming, sharing and planning travel, which was central to the Vtravelled concept.

The agency says that it drew inspiration from the international language of travel to create an experience that was both familiar and engaging.

"Our objective with was to create a visual identity which cut through the online travel sector clutter," says Attik co-founder and group creative director James Sommerville. "We felt the design resonated with and engaged travellers who are knowledgeable and passionate about travel. In order to reinforce the fun side of travel, we created an icon language that visually directs users in a simple and graphic way without the need for too many words and written instructions. "
