No matter how well lipstick or other lip colour is applied to a model by make-up artists, once on set you’re likely to find that the colour bleeds outwards from the lip line. This can be particularly problematic for bolder colours, which will be more obvious in close up beauty shots.
In this tutorial, photographer Tigz Rice will show you how you can correct the lip line in Photoshop using a mixture of cloning techniques. You’l also learn how to apply a touch of frequency Sseparation to remove any chapping of the lips, and use layer styles to enhance the natural highlights on the lips.
