Film and TV poster designer Marcell Bandicksson describes himself as a thoughtful and passionate person who strives to represent great ideas through creative imagery.

Where did you train, and what did you specialise?

I graduated from Cumbria Institute of the Arts. Over time, I specialised in design for the entertainment industry.

What's your favourite tool?

Photoshop, as it allows me to work in the field of photography, graphics and design in one place.

What techniques to do you use?

These depend on the project I'm working on. I mostly use my camera to capture images and then manipulate them in Photoshop. However, I also paint, and illustrate on paper with pencils. I love to be versatile and experimental to learn new techniques.

What has been your favourite piece you've created?

If I really had to pick one, it would be the artwork for the second season of Sons of Anarchy. I remember seeing the work on huge billboards, buses and big trucks in LA. It was also advertised on a airplane that was flying around the city. This was pretty crazy to see for a small town Swede.

What (if any) computer packages do you use?

Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, ZBrush and After Effects.

Which clients have you worked for, and where have you exhibited your work?

I've worked for a number of big-name clients, including FX Network, HBO,  Lionsgate, Twentieth Century Fox, Rouge Pictures, Warner Brothers, Universal Pictures, MGM, Fox Searchlight and Sony Pictures.

My work has also been exhibited at Key art Awards, IDA awards and in Bak magazine.

What inspires you?

Music, Nature, People. Movies. Politics.

Favourite websites / blogs? (you don't have to put DA :)

Recently, I've frequently checked The Young Turks political show on Youtube.
