Where did you train, and what did you specialise in?
The Royal College of Art, specialising in printed textiles.
What's your favourite tool and why?
I would say that it is important to realise the potential of any tool you use. I think I am less interested in process but more in results. photoshop, pencil, paint brush, UV printing, whatever It takes.
What techniques do you use most?
Mostly print techniques like UV screen and digital printing, but I strongly believe in using my hands, which generally affects how I use a computer.
What has been your favourite piece you've created and why?
My latest collection of wall-coverings and printed surfaces is probably the work that I am most proud and excited about! But I always think of a drawing I did whilst at the RCA, a curious little painting of a face I made late one night up in the infamous drawing studio.
What kinds of materials do you work with?
Linens, cottons, glass and hard surfaces, but most recently foiled vinyls.
Which clients have you worked for, and where has your work been exhibited?
My clients vary. I’ve designed prints for fashion, though my main focus is in interiors, which is where my clients are. I’ve just exhibited at 100% design. I also won the New Designers One Year On award a few months ago, which was great.
