Spike Lee is the latest name director to helm a piece for Absolut. Absolut Brooklyn is visual tribute to New York's most populous borough, combining poetry and some nifty use of stills animated by Smoke & Mirrors.

The film is a narrated by spoken word poet/actor Lemon Andersen. It blends live-action footage of the performer strolling the borough with still images of Brooklyn's soaring bridges, endless parks, busy boardwalks, and diverse people, culture and neighborhoods.

The stills were brought to life by Smoke & Mirrors lead Flame artist Nic Seresin and Flame artist Sam Caine. Both applied subtle and large moves to the director's images of the borough's various neighborhoods, from Coney Island beaches to the stoops of Fort Greene and Bedford-Stuyvesant.
