Pantone has added 336 new colours to its Pantone Plus series of colours, bringing the total to 1,677 colours.
Based on the company’s Goe series, the new colours are focussed on shades that Pantone says offer “subtle pastels and reliable mid-tones to the intensity of deep tones, vivid brights and nuanced neutrals.”
Pantone has produced swatch books for the new colours. These are printed on thinner paper that the company says more accurately represents most print jobs, and cost about 30 per cent more than previous guides. These guides cost from £48 for the new colours only and from £108 for the full set.
