The Foundry has posted a VFX breakdown video for Taylor Swift's Bad Blood promo by Ingenuity Studios, which broke the Vevo world record with 20.1 million views in 24 hours.

However the team at Ingenuity Studios only had three weeks to create the visual effects behind the film-noir style video.

To date the video, with VFX work including explosions, invisible cars and the London skyline, has had over 214 million views.

The Foundry’s video reveals how the team, led by VFX Supervisor Grant Miller, put Modo 901 through its paces, along with Hiero, Mari, Nuke and Nuke Studio to create 148 effects shots.

That's 148 out of 150 shots, as apparently there are only two non-effects shots in the whole promo.
