Creative agency Love, code-headed artists Universal Everything and post house Realise Studio have revealed their latest work for drinks firm Diageo. The Spirit of Celebration is a print and motion campaign for Johnnie Walker Gold Reserve whisky, launching in Asia this month.
The brief to Love from Diageo was to position Johnnie Walker Gold Reserve as a "drink of celebration and flamboyance". The agency’s approach for the campaign focused on using the dance moves of Jade Yung to manipulate liquid gold in an elegant mix of balletic movement and flowing fluids.
The agency produced a choreographed film that was a combination of live-action motion capture and CG animation. From this film a series of high-resolution stills were taken. The resulting film and stills assets are now being launched as the Spirit of Celebration campaign, which is being showcased across Asia in premium venues, bars, retail outlets and airports.
