Dutch animation studio Job, Joris & Marieke has created a series of quirky character animations for Transport For London's new #CONTACTLESS campaign.
Approached by advertising agency M&C Saatchi armed only with rough layout ideas, Job, Joris & Marieke were tasked with creating a series of cheerful CG characters in-keeping with the studio's unique style.
Each character has been designed using exaggerated 'stretch and squash' principles. They were brought to life using a variety of software including Cinema 4D (below), After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.
To dress the 3D characters, Job, Joris and Marieke created 2D textures such as suits and dresses (above), and equipped them with fun props such as a bubble wand, scuba-diving mask and pet pooch.
Job, Joris & Marieke, represented by Jelly London, has previously worked for clients including E-ON, T-Mobile and more, and is also the studio behind the charmingly horrifying MUTE film that was released last year.
