Escape Studios has launched an online competition to discover the new stars of CG in the UK and US. The CG Graduate Design Awards aims to uncover fresh computer graphics talent just coming out of university.

The winning graduates, one in the UK and one in the US, will receive a new, year-long mentored course from Escape Studios and an online 'CV clinic' session with top CG recruiters at The Mill, which is sponsoring. Twenty runners up, 10 in the UK and 10 in the US, will also receive a critique of their showreel by a judging panel comprised of Escape Studios’ tutors, with industry professionals from The Mill.

The CG Graduate Design Awards is only open to students in the US or UK in their final year of study or who have graduated in the last 12 months. The competition is open to all types of work, from visual effects, 3D animation, character animation and even architectural visualisation projects.

To enter, see details on Escape Studio’s YouTube channel. The closing date for all entries will be 2nd August, and the overall winners will then be announced on Escape Studios’ blog in September.
