Ustwo Games has released a few details about Land's End, the next game it's been working on after the highly feted iOS and Android game Monument Valley.

Anyone looking to slot Land's End on their iPhone or Samsung Galaxy next to Monument Valley is going to be disappointed. Land's End has been created specifically for the Samsung Gear VR, a virtual reality headset that works only with the company's new Note 4 phone. The Gear VR is based on Oculus's VR technology as found in its Oculus Rift VR headset.

Ustwo is keeping info about Land's End largely under wraps, releasing only the graphic above - which has the same kind as low-poly beauty as Monument Valley. Ustwo's chief wonka Mills has described it on Twitter as "a surreal trip through an archipelago of forgotten worlds".

Ustwo Games will be showing Land's End at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, where the Gear VR was launched yesterday. My colleague Ashleigh Allsopp is attending the show, and we'll publish a sneak peak of Land's End with a hands-on very soon.

Monument Valley extra levels

The company has also said that its work on Land's End won't delay the highly anticipated new levels it's planning to release for Monument Valley soon.
