Creative studio ustwo has sent word that Inkstrumental is currently free for a limited 24 hours period. ustwo teamed with acclaimed illustrator and designer Jon Burgerman, famed for his doodling, drawing, scrawling and illustration, for the app, which originally sold for £2.39.

Recently a dedicated Inkstrumental™ website launched showcasing the ability to 'make and share' your 'mental music video masterpiece' with your friends and the world on YouTube.

Inkstrumental users can choose a unique illustrated scene and select from 31 characters especially created by Jon Burgerman to start making music. 'Tap each character to record a mad musical sound and combine them to make totally insane music. Record your own bizarre and unique sounds using the special recordable character.'

"Apple also picked up Inkstrumental on its iTunes App Store. Getting the thumbs up from Apple went a long way to proving to us, and the world, it is and was a great investment," says mills of ustwo.
