Wednesday 28 Jul 2010 - 14:21

VET Training will be running free Media Composer 5 workshops at its facility in Hoxton Square, London on Friday 30 July. These workshops will give participants the opportunity to see and learn about the newest features of Media Composer 5, which launched in June. There will be four sessions running throughout the day, which are hosted by VET Training and delivered by Avid’s EMEA master instructor Richard Bentley.  The there sessions run from 11-12.30pm, 1– 2pm and 3-4.30pm

An Avid partner since Media Composer was launched, VET provides ongoing development, innovation, training, support and consultancy across the industry to broadcasters, freelancers, agencies, film-makers and corporates. VET is also a BBC Preferred Supplier and a Panasonic training partner in tapeless production.

Joan Leese, VET training director, said: "Avid provides great tools for creative editors and VET trains them to use these tools most effectively to maximise their creative output. The VET team are with the strength of the new version. VET Training is delighted to be hosting these first open workshops in Hoxton, East London."

Those interested in attending can call Claire or Kim at VET on 020 7505 4747 or email training@vet.co.uk. Details can also be found here.
