Antics Technologies has released its Antics 2 pre-visualization software. This follows the Early Adopter Program that's been running since May this year, during which used over 150 organizations and individuals to test and validate the Version 2 release.
Antics 2 is aimed at directors, DoPs, art directors, producers, 3D designers and storyboard artists and is designed for users without a background in 3D. It has an easy-to-use interface, according to Antics, that uses the company's Point &
Click, Drag & Drop intelligent animation technology.
The software features a Set Construction Kit for creating scenes with a large 3D asset library. Camera tools include stock lenses, framing, tracking and damping, while the Antics Shotline allows different combinations of camera shots to
be cut together for trial edits. The Timeline-based workflow allows easy modification and synchronisation of action with multiple cameras, according to Antics.
Antics 2 costs £480 plus VAT.
