DTP Tools has released a beta of the Page Control plug-in for Adobe InDesign CS and CS2. The plug-in marks the first collaboration between the company and design author Pariah S Burke.
Page Control enables pages of different sizes to be included in InDesign documents. This allows inserts and foldouts to be easily included in documents, according to DTP Tools, avoiding having to use multiple documents or extra imposition work.
Designers can resize entire spreads or single pages within spreads, and build and apply master pages of different sizes. The Pasteboard can also be expanded. A reader for editing documents created in Page Control is available for free, so service providers and other users can access documents.
Page Control costs $59 (around £32).
