WoodWing Software adds support for Adobe Creative Suite 5

Friday 16 Apr 2010 - 09:55

WoodWing Software, a supplier of  cross-media publishing solutions, has announced its software is Adobe's Creative Suite 5 compatible.

A beta version of WoodWing's award-winning Smart Styles CS5 plug-in for Adobe InDesign and InCopy has been already released. The final release will be ready at the same time Adobe CS5 ships.

A beta version of WoodWing's award-winning Smart Styles CS5 plug-in for Adobe InDesign and InCopy has been already released the company announced earlier this week, with those expected to be ready by the time CS5 ships in less than 30 days.

"CS5 is not just an incremental step after CS4; it's a big leap forward," said Erik Schut, President of WoodWing Software.

"It's amazing to see what Adobe did to make everyday layout tasks easier and quicker with new features such as grid mode, live distribute, multiple page sizes inside one layout, background PDF export and eliminating the need to switch tools. For our own iPad developments, the built-in support for interactive documents is very exciting, as it gives us a much richer foundation for our iPad Digital Magazine Solution."

"Publishers, ad agencies and designers are being overwhelmed by all-new possibilities and technologies. WoodWing provides them with an integrated and easy-to-use solution that is up-to-date and able to handle any publishing challenge and output device, today."

The Smart Styles CS5 Beta is available to download here.

Adobe Creative Suite 5 will be available next month. Full pricing details can be found here.
