With November already upon us, it's time to think about the things you need for next year. While online calendars such as iCal and Google Calendar have almost put paid to the need for a paper date-book, it's a good excuse to get yourself one of Typotheque's stylish combo calendar and sketchbook -- a 2012 version of which has just been released.
The book features a elegant typographic cover establishing a colour scheme of rich blue and vibrant red that carries onto the lining and even the bookmark. Inside are a yearly overview, week overviews on double pages, and 12 different pre-printed grids for sketching on. International holidays, design events and other days of interest are listed on an index page, as well as on day overviews. The coated cover offers protection from coffee and ink spills, and the book is bound to ensure that it lies flat when opened.
Here are some shots of the book.
The Pocket Calendar/Sketchbook costs €15.
