Author: Andrew Rae's detailed illustration features the 20 things that were biggest online in 2014 - but can you identify them?
Over the last few years, SYZYGY Group’s 20 Things That Happened In ... self-promotion project has provided some much-needed January fun. The creative agency group has published a yearly series of artworks by top-notch illustrators featuring 20 memorable moments from the previous year – and the latest has now been released.
20 Things That Happened In 2014 was drawn by Andrew Rae, who’s probably best known for his work for The Guardian but is also a graphic novelist for Nobrow. He follows in the footsteps of Brosmind in 2013, Sebastian Feraut (aka Niark1) in 2012, Peter Jaworowski in 2011 and mc bess in 2010.
SYZYGY will be revealing the list of answers in a week’s time on the project’s website, 20thin.gs. Tweet that link with the hashtag #20Things and you could win a poster of the artwork. SYZYGY is giving away 20 posters every day this week.
To help you get them all, you can see all 20 separately at the end of this story, but first off we're going to induce some nostalgia – and headscratching by republishing 20 Things That Happened In 2013, 2012, 2011 and 2010.
