The Chris Beetles Gallery presents a selling exhibition of over 100 original drawings and watercolours by childen's illustrator Quentin Blake.
Best known for his 15 year partnership with Roald Dahl and for his unforgettable illustrations for Matilda, James and the Giant Peach, The Twits, The Witches and The BFG, Quentin has become as recognisable to a whole new generation through his own wonderful creations such as Clown and Zagazoo and Loveykins.
This popularity was demonstrated by the Guardian, describing him as 'already a national institution' when he was appointed the first Children's Laureate in 1999.
The exhibition includes 75 new and unseen works including caption boards for BBC Television’s Jackanory, drawings for his popular children’s books, as well as new and exciting creations specifically drawn for this exhibition.
Picture prices range from £250 to £5,000.
