Author: The Association of Illustrators is giving you a chance to see their pick of the best artwork from the past year.
Every year the Association of Illustrators awards the best illustration across advertising, books, children's, design and editorial. From October 2, an exhibition of the winners of the Illustration Awards will be hosted at Somerset House in London - returning again after a successful show last year.
12 category winners have been chosen, and two overall awards will be announced when the show kicks off - a Professional awards and a New Talent gong for a student or new graduate.
The winners are from around the globe, from the UK and France to the US and South Korea. Names familiar to Digital Arts readers include Glasgow-based illustrator and animator Lesley Barnes, one our favourite children's book creators Chris Haughton, and recent Falmouth graduates David Doran and Katy Ponder.
Shortlisted work will also be on display.
The exhibition runs from October 2 to November 2.
