The single's available as a limited edition hand-numbered 7-inch picture disc with artwork from both Jon and Jim (below). It's out on September 20 on Thor Records.
From the blurb: 'Let’s Eat Soya is their ridiculously infectious, anthemic dance declaration of smutty love in a meat-free-world. You’ll be humming it for weeks, seriously. Altogether now: “I’m a veggie, you’re a vegan, let’s eat Soya…”
On Lonely In The Digital World, Burgerman dryly takes you on a fantastical journey through a computer game world -- zapping zombies with vampire fangs, leaping through rings, re-killing the undead, riding dinosaurs and solving the mystery of the abandoned town. Then Avignon pitches in with a curiously uplifting but sweetly melancholic chorus. All set to a joyful, bouncing backdrop of rousing electronica."
In support of this, the duo are playing gigs in London and Nottingham -- kicking off tomorrow at one of Digital Arts' favourite local pubs (and purveyor of the best selection of American whiskies), The Lexington in Islington (tickets can be bought at a very reasonable £3 here). On Satuday they pitch up at Cafe.Bar.Contemporary in Nottingham. Previous gigs in New York, Germany and Italy have included 'masked dancers, live painting, salad-making workshops, biscuit giveaways, and digital portrait-making' apparently.
