Creative duo Inkygoodness and comrades are coming back Birmingham from July 21 for an exhibition of their internationally travelling hand-painted wooden totems -- as seen at the Pictoplasma character art festival in Berlin.

The totems were created by a loose collective of 32 illustrators, artists and image-makers from across the globe, including McBess, Toy Factory, Sneaky Raccoon, Felt Mistress, Ben Steers, Hattie Stewart, El Tobe, Loulou & Tummie, Tom J Newell and Jason Devine.

The event will also include new works around the 'Character Totem' theme from artists such as Uberkraaft, DOODULL, Crim Collective, Ocular Invasion, Ian Watson, Am I Collective, and Lesley Barnes.

The exhibition is held at the Zellig Gallery, The Custard Factory, Gibb Street, Birmingham B9 4AA. The launch event will see live drawing by Matt Saunders, Kris Jones and Crim Collective; animation screening by Brucey Art; an Inkygoodness + MakeMake clothing stall; and live music by Health & Efficiency. it runs until July 30.
