Canadian advertising and creativity community ihaveanidea has announced the details of Portfolio Night 8, an event aimed at boosting young creatives' careers. This year's event will take place on May 20.

Sponsored by Adobe, Corbis and Ogilvy & Mather, the event offers up-and-coming creatives the chance to get their portfolio reviewed by established creatives in a 'speed-dating' style.

Stock library Corbis will be providing their Hi-Res Image Offer to juniors who are registered to attend the event. Juniors will have up to 30 high-res images for free from Corbis’ premium Blink, Ivy, Crush and Bettmann collections for use in their Portfolio Night portfolios.

Students enrolled in advertising programs, recent graduates, and up-and-coming creatives will have the opportunity to spend face-to-face time with their city’s most prestigious creative directors. Young creatives are encouraged to attend this event in one of the participating cities and have the opportunity to speak with three or more world-class creative directors.
 
Cost to participate is priced locally in participating cities around the world. All aspiring creatives or juniors with an advertising portfolio must buy a ticket and register online at www.portfolionight.com.  Tickets will go on sale March 22 2010.
