Designer and illustrator Simon Cook – who works under the moniker of Stone and Spear – has given us a sneak peek at some new work based around the almost-completely internally rebuilt hotel inside St Pancras station in London (a magnificent piece of architecture directly in view from the Digital Arts' team desks from the opposite side of Euston Road).
The works are part of an exhibition at the Getty Images Gallery from tomorrow until November 26. On Nov 30, the pieces will be auctioned at a black tie event at the St Pancras Hotel to raise money for the Variety Club charity.
Simon's four prints (below) were created in collaboration with photographer Olivia Rose. Simon says that the images are inspired by "creatures of the night, decadence, magic and the vast gothic hallways of the building."
We first saw Simon's work at the New Designers Show 2010, and since then his projects have included a series of handkerchiefs in collaboration with Lucy Jay.
