Adobe has released Photoshop Lightroom 2.7, Photoshop Camera Raw 5.7 and DNG Converter 5.7. The updates add raw file support for nine extra camera models, including the Canon EOS 550D, Sony A450 and Olympus E-PL1.

The full set of supported cameras are the Canon EOS 550D (called the Digital Rebel T2i or EOS Kiss X4 Digital elsewhere in the world), Kodak Z981, Leaf Aptus-II 8 and Aptus-II 10R, Mamiya DM40, Olympus E-PL1, Panasonic G2 and G10, and Sony A450.

The final updates follow Release Candidate versions of the updates posted earlier this month on Adobe Labs. Adobe is also offering a beta of version 3 of Lightroom on that site at http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lightroom3/.

Photoshop Lightroom allows photographers to import, process, manage and showcase images. The Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in access within Photoshop to the raw image formats produced by many leading digital cameras. Adobe’s Digital Negative (DNG) format is an archival format for the raw files generated by digital cameras.
