The Kantar Information is Beautiful Awards 2014, which celebrates excellence and beauty in data visualisation, infographics and information design, has revealed its winning entries and runners up, 

Taking place last night in central London, the Kantar Information is Beautiful Awards event also revealed the winner of the prestigious Most Beautiful Award and the Community Award.

The panel of judges included Alberto Cairo, director of the visualisation program at the University of Miami's Center for Computational Science, Aziz Cami, Creative Director of Kantar, information designer Giorgia Lupi, writer and co-founder David McCandless, creative partner of IIB Studio Duncan Swain, FlowingData creator Nathan Yau and Stefanie Posavec, whose data-related design work has been exhibited at New York’s Museum of Modern Art and the Victoria & Albert Museum.

A combination of the online people’s vote and the judges’ votes decided on the final winners.

The Gold Winners each received a cash prize of $1,500, while the winners of the Special Achievement Awards received a cash prize of $1,000 each, except for Most Beautiful Award, won by RAW by DensityDesign Research Lab which received a cash prize of $5,000.

RAW (pictured) also won the Gold prize in the Tool category.
