A year ago today, an exhibition of posters based around one of the most hated fonts – Comic Sans – captured our imagination and raised thousands of pounds for Cancer Research.

Sadly, one of the designers whose work featured in the exhibition, Craig Salter, lost his own battle with cancer on June 3 this year. To celebrate his life – and to show that what started last year will go on as long as cancer takes loved ones away – his friends and Comic Sans for Cancer organisers have re-released his poster (shown here). You can buy Craig's poster here, and donate to Comic Sans for Cancer directly.

Read on for tributes to Craig from his friends and colleagues – and to see more artwork from Comic Sans for Cancer.
