Every year the editors at our sister site Macworld sit down and decide what have been the finest products of the past 12 months. From the areas of professional creativity through to top consumer products – and, of course, Apple’s own offerings – we honour the best and brightest that have graced our offices over the past year.
Winning a Macworld Award is a seal of quality for any product. The winners are chosen by the Macworld editorial team and Macworld's army of enthusiastic readers. Winners from the creative side included three for Adobe: Creative Suite 5 (Readers Choice - Best Software), InDesign CS5 (Creative Design Software Of The Year), and Dreamweaver CS5 (Best Web And Online Software) -- plus Wacom's Cintiq 21UX (Best Creative Hardware), cameras from Nikon and Panasonic, a camcorder from JVC Professional, and printers from Canon and Xerox. The Grand Prix went to Nikon's D5000 digital SLR.
The prestigious event was held Thursday evening at The Northumberland, a lavish new venue a short walk from London's Trafalgar Square. Macworld would like to thank everyone who attended the event, sponsored awards and voted.
Here then are the winners.
