Adobe Experience Design (XD) aims to combines the interface design tools of Sketch with the prototyping features of InVision to create a combined tool that’s similar to something like Marvel (though many users use that with Sketch).

Though the first public beta was released in March – and Adobe has released regular updates since – it's still not hit version 1.0 yet. It's currently available for Mac only – unsurprising as it's a rival to the Mac-only Sketch – and the Windows version won't be with us til the end of the year.

The public beta can be downloaded by anyone with a free or paid Creative Cloud account (a wise move as many Sketch-using designers may not subscribe to Creative Cloud).

Over this feature we'll check out what Adobe XD has to offer – or you can go straight to Adobe XD's new features.
