The ColourLaser 600, 1200 and 1200 Pro make up the first range of colour laser printers from Xanté. Aimed at the design and print industry, the range has an output resolution of up to 1,200-x-1,200dpi onto up to oversize A3 paper. The ColourLaser 600 combines a 600-x-600dpi colour output with 1,200-x-1,200 monochrome printing. Pages of up to 13-x-19-inches are produced at up to 6ppm in colour and 24ppm in mono. It ships with a base 64MB of RAM, supports Adobe PostScript 3 and includes ICC profiles for sRGB and SNAP – as well as including Xanté’s TrueColour Correction technology. The printer includes a 10BaseT Ethernet port as standard, with the option to upgrade to a 100BaseT card. Duplexing options are also available. The ColourLaser 1200 adds to the 600’s base spec. Colour output matches the monochrome at 1,200-x-1,200dpi. Base RAM sits at 160MB. Other ICC profiles supported include SWOP, Euroscale and Toyo. Pantone calibration has also been added. The ColourLaser 1200 Pro adds Xanté’s ColourMatch software and an internal IDE drive. The ColourLaser 600 costs £3,699 plus VAT. The1200 costs £4,599 plus VAT. The 1200 Pro costs £5,799 plus VAT.
