London-based indepedent film distributor Revolver Entertainment is on the hunt for a new logo -- and it is offering £10,000 to the designer who creates the logo that best fits the company's needs.

The brief calls for a logo that "represents the energetic and leading spirit of Revolver, providing a gentle nod towards the modern, urban and cool nature of the company, whilst continuing to uphold Revolver’s position as a professional film distributor."

The winning design will also avoid any reference to guns. For a full brief, visit the competition page on the Revolver Entertainment website.

Revolver Entertainment specialises in indie films, having distributed Kidulthood, Sin Nombre, and 50 Cent's magnum opus Dead Man Running. The winning logo will be displayed on the company's billboard posters, DVD and video packaging, as well as being animated for the start of trailers, ads and the films themselves.

The deadline for entries is February 28, 2010.
