Webcreate - the UK's leading online resource for Web designers - has revealed the winners of its hotly contested design competition. The contest, which ran for three months, let interactive designers showcase their work in a bid to win an Apple G4 Cube and Adobe software.
The winner is Chris Jones from Buckinghamshire for "Elephants..." - a short,
interactive promotional movie for greeting-card designs. Chris wins an Apple
G4 Cube plus the complete Adobe Web
Collection including three award-winning Adobe applications: Adobe
GoLive 4.0, Photoshop 5.5, and Illustrator 8.0 - all in one box.
Three runners-up are: "Flash Sprint" by Hoss Gilford, a fun Flash racing
game, "Very Interesting People" a study of Glaswegian street life by Brian
Limond, and "World Aids Day" an animated cartoon created for the MTV web
site by Bill Greenhead. Each runner-up receives a copy of both Adobe After
Effects and Adobe LiveMotion.
