Square Art, the art competition for creatives working in the advertising industries has announced its esteemed judging panel.
The competition, which describes itself as 'Adland’s answer to the Turner Prize' takes place on Thursday 17 July at post production house, Golden Square.
The judges are: Robin Wight, chairman of WCRS and Waldemar Januszczak, Sunday Times art critic.
Wight says about the competition that "the boundary between advertising and art is dynamic, continually changing and immensely interesting. I am happy to be involved in an award programme that will recognise talent that is able to perform on both domains."
Waldemar Januszczak added that "The world of advertising is full of deeply creative people so it is a joy to be able to see their work in this very different setting."
The competition is open to anyone working within the advertising creative community. Artwork should be submitted to Golden Square by July 11 2008.
