Announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, the card has a hinge in the centre and folds back on itself to reveal a thin USB connector.

The card, which was designed in-house by SanDisk, removes the need for an SD card adapter and is compatible with any operating system that recognizes USB Mass Storage devices. The interface is USB 2.0.
