Markzware has released an Intel Mac-native (Universal binary) version of its MarkzTools Xtension for QuarkXPress.
MarkzTools is used to prevent corrupted QuarkXPress documents. It's capable of overcoming bad file format problems, will retrieve text from corrupted documents and can view images in grey previews to reduce file size. MarkzTools also allow XPress users to run a 'Save As to Quark 4.1' command.
"Since 1993, MarkzTools has helped many thousands of users and Markzware is pleased to provide a Universal Binary version. Data conversion-type products like MarkzTools and PM2Q actually provided the first technical breakthroughs that we needed to create FlightCheck, which we eventually released in 1995," said Patrick Marchese founder and CEO of Markzware Software.
MarkzTools is available for immediate download or on CD, starting at £139 (US$279) for new users. Registered users of MarkzTools 7 can upgrade for free.
